How much does a building survey cost?
Cardoe Martin only offers full buildings surveys, and costs range dependant on the size of the property, location and other factors such as listed status, historical features and any specific concerns you may want to look into. It is always advisable to allow for a house survey cost, or a structural survey cost, in any financial projections as they will identify structural problems or serious issues such as subsidence or damp.
Do I need a survey on a new build?
Most new-build properties will have a 10 year NHBC guarantee, however it may be prudent to have a snagging survey carried out to check for decorative issues.
How long does a full building survey take?
This can take from between one and a half hours to over four hours depending on the size and condition of the property.
