Challenge: Our client was in the process of purchasing a property forming a part of a converted chapel in North London. As the property was a modern conversion, our client was concerned about noise transfer from neighbours, glazed bricks used as windows and ventilation provisions.

Solution: Cardoe Martin attended shortly following instruction and completed a thorough inspection of the property, including the items of specific concern, and produced a building survey report. We had identified a number of minor damp issues and provided our client with a schedule of recommended repairs and queries for further information from the seller, helping our client to make an informed decision on the purchase.
