Challenge: Our client, the freeholder of the development which comprised the regeneration of site in Hayes formerly used as factories by a British Music Company, containing retail, residential, leisure, healthcare and commercial office space required a development-wide valuation to ensure an accurate reinstatement cost was applied as the insured value.

Solution: Cardoe Martin provided were able to undertake inspections of the entire development, checking measurements and plan accuracy to ensure that the measurements used were accurate, and record the construction and fit out promptly following instruction. In conjunction with a thorough review of all records relating to the development, we were able to provide a comprehensive valuation, split by the different site elements and scheduled entities, to enable the client to correct their insured values and premiums with their insurers, saving money and minimising risk.
